#137810 - BULL Responding to: ???'s previous message |
incorrect information according to my hands-on experimentation.
BULL If a datasheet states "max clock speed 12MHz" it does not state that NONE will work at a faster clock, it states that beyond 12MHz there is no guarantee. Thus the datasheet is CORRECT. It is a known fact that some manufacturers, in a pinch, will relabel a faster variant to have stock of a slower version. Does that mean that the next chip you get with the same part number ALSO is a 'relablled chip' ABSOLUTELY NOT. I'm starting to hate these datasheets why, based on your posts you do not read them. Erik to everyone: DO NOT 'experiment' stay within the limits stated in the datasheet |
