hi,
Now my lcd is working. but it displays only on the first line. i found that the same problem with the same lcd was posted at

but the solution is not clear. it is said to use the 38h command twice. i did it.. but it still did not work. I even sent the 38h command four times and it still did not work. is it something to do with the microcontroller frequency or delay?
i really need some help.
