#138404 - Gah.
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Okay, I managed to briefly borrow a '550 emulator to try my code, and couldn't duplicate this behavior. However, I did notice that I was using 300-ohm resistors with my LEDs, and grounding the LEDs with the chip.

The big question, then, is whether I damaged my chips (samples, so no enormous problems there) by passing something like 16 or 17 mA when the data sheet rates them for 300 uA. More to the point, are the chips now totally unusable?

Any offered knowledge on this would be gladly accepted.
Many thanks,
Bob Robertson.
