You get heavy resonances when paralleling these caps, the more the higher the Q of these caps is. This only works when paralleling a tantal or "better" an aluminium eletrolytic by a ceramic cap, because then the finite equivalent series impedance of electrolytic sufficiently dampens the resonances. This is no joke, Jan, check it with "Spice" if you don't believe it. Kai |
