PLEASE STOP calling the %^*%% PEGboard a 'breadboard', it is NOT!!!!. ...thanks for addition information but please note that the "PEGboard" IS called "breadboard" in Chinese speaking area, including China, Taiwan, HK and Macau and... Aren't their names given by the people who use them? So I will have to correct all the others each time they make that "%^*%% mistake" then. Erik Malund said:
Really??? getting rid of uncertainty by trying another uncertain possibility?
Sometimes the metal strips inside the PEGboard become loose and discontinuity between the wires (especially the crystal pins) and the board occurs. This happens very often especially when those rows had been used by thick component pins. Moving the circuit to another board can sometimes solve the problem. The OP would not need a PEGboard if he has a development board and I just made a suggestion base on what he has at that time. Stanley |
