... than just a microcontroller. It's relatively easy to generate the control signals, the devil is in the details - the high voltage power supply has to be stable with relatively heavy current pulses drawn by the EPROM under programming.
For inspiration, try to google for the original intel's BASIC52 - it was capable to "burn" EPROMs on it's own; in the manual, there's a schematics and the sources are available, too. JW |
