PC - Serial - UART - AT89S52 - BASIC52 firmware - rather trivial BASIC program - circuit according the schematics from the B52 manual - EPROM (after erase)

Although you will be better off trying to dig out the programming algorithm off the interpreter and write your own firmware around it, thus getting rid of the need for external RAM.

Also note, that while the intel quickpulse algorithm should be adequate to most EPROMs, it is not an effective (timewise) algorithm for most of them; and I give you NO guarantee it will work on other than intel EPROMs.
