Recently I purchased Atmel AT89C51RE2 parts from the said supplier and found they are duplicates and not working.



The problem with Atmel is they dont sell online and instead pass on the email to their suppliers which boggle the end user with idiotic questions . When you ask a third party to source product they procure the same from the chinese grey market . And no one provides gaurantee for these components . If you can try to choose nxp components and buy online using your credit card if possible , if you want the best deal , just cut the third part and keep them only for discrete components .
