Hi
I have purchased 5 nos for $150 including taxes. He is telling he will program it for me. It wont help because I have to use them for development purpose so i may have to program the devices several times per day. I am using AT89C51RD2 without any problem. When Contacted Authorized Distributor in India they said the device AT89C51RE2 is not yet released in India, so he has supplied me some grey parts and trying to justify that I do not have programmer, etc. Truly this problem ( not able to progrm the parts ) is not with ATMEL. since these parts are from grey market. I have purchased these parts for emergency purpose only. Haribabu Why would you be willing to pay $30 each for components that normally cost about $6? Surely postage and taxes don't raise the cost that much? If you are using these parts without a problem, how do you program them? What do you mean "grey market"? If you get them from the distributor, it's not "grey market" is it? I disagree with your assertion that it is not an ATMEL problem, since you can easily order these parts, for example, from DigiKey, and pay between ~$5 and ~$8 per unit. You could easily have purchased a programmer with the price difference. This whole story is very much tangled in details I don't yet understand. Perhaps you can clarify. RE |
