#49088 - Speed limit application
I'm currently working on a vehicle application where I need to stop an action (if it was activated) if speed goes above a certain limit.
I got out my picoscope and my lap top and lifted the vehicle up and measured the speed sensor signal that was going to the speedometer at various car speeds which was close to square wave where the mark is inversly proportional to speed.
My first thought was to measure the width of the pulse if any and store it in a register and comapere this value to the set value( speed converted to time) to take my action if speed is greater than set value.
Can anyone think of a better idea?
regards
mahmood
