Hi,
I was thinking to interface the commonly available Max232 chip for 3.3V MCUS .In the datasheet of MAX232 its givem as below :





Does this means you can power your chip from anywhere in between -0.3V to +6V :) .
My question if I power this 5V chip from 3.3V Powersupply will
it affect operating parameters say its charge pump etc ? , I
know all the specifications are given @ 5V DC +/-10% , 25 deg C.
