I only want to add, that 'absolute maximum ratings' are specified for full operating temperature range. And it's clear, that at high temperatures overrating can be even more destructive than at room temperature.
Kai, I do not contest your right to post whatever you what to post, but I guarantee that the above will lead a few of our less expereienced mambers to exceed the maximum ratings "just slightly" because "this is never going to get hot" I have no problem seing that your post does not condone exceeding max ratings, but I am sure that someone out there for reasons of language or experience will take it as such.
