Exactly ,Exactly but now a days even Room Temperature = Airconditioner Temp . I have seen datasheets which tells apply overvoltage for maximum 1 minute etc ,dont you think what type of gaurantee they are giving to their customer , how can we get sure that some internal parts have not get degraded ? but yet the chip may be functional ? .
