Michael , I know about 3232 and I would be very very happy if I could procure the same :( it is very hard to find that part in my country ,I tried RS Components and Farnell and they demand 10 times more money then its actual cost . I know with 5V seperate powersupply the existing 232 will work , I just want to know will it reliably work with 3.3V supply? the problem is on the lower side of the voltage and not on the higher side .
