because somebody wants to add features and they don't want it to take 6 months to a year to get that new feature.
That, unfortunately is not so, I have seen features implemented overnight (daytime in India). I fear the CEOs have their blinders on and are looking at the short term instead of the long term. Ultimately putting their company out of business. The CEO, probably, is not concerned if his 'company' end up with him and a secretary as the only US employees. When suddenly his Asian employees form their own company and take away his business, he will act surprised and go export labor form another company where the board is impressed with his cost savings and consider the demise of his former company an unforseeable incident. Innovation comes from small companies, not large companies. Innovation has been the engine of the US economy for 230+ years. and small companies do not export labor (till they get big). We can kick, scream and behave any way we want, but the economy is going global. Erik |
