#69738 - RE: Learning C for \'51 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
As Erik seems to have lost the ability to read a complete sentence
He often does that over the weekend and pick it up again around 10 a.m. om Mondays :-) Erik Re efficiency: I have no idea of the efficiency of SDCC besides the knowledge that a 'general' compiler 'adapted' for the '51 always lack efficiency compared to a 'native' '51 compiler. Once, by 'magabucks corporation' i were tasked with evaluating compiler/assemble/linker packages and found that the top group (3), all 'native' '51 were within 5% in efficiency (time and compactness) but the rest, one of which were 'native' '51 produced code up to 115% slower and something like 100% more bulky.
