#83607 - rs-485,high speed? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi,
Considering availability of chips & economical issues here we have decided to settle with RS-485 as comm. channel. Having min. 40 nodes. I am thinking of MAX1487 which supports 128 nodes @ 2500kbps. Any suggestions? this is just for knowledge:- Data sheet of MAX 3488/90 states that it can support data transfer speed of 12Mbps. But how such a HI data rate can be generated? UART available on controllers cannot support these rates. Is there any other device which can communicate at these rates & can be used with 485 transceivers? Thanks & Regards |
