#83610 - Speed Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Data sheet of MAX 3488/90 states that it can support data transfer speed of 12Mbps.
But how such a HI data rate can be generated? UART available on controllers cannot support these rates. I doubt very much that the MAX 3488/90 is designed exclusively for use with 8051s! Therefore the fact that your particular 8051 derivative can't "out-run" a MAX 3488/90 is entirely irrelevant. Is there any other device which can communicate at these rates & can be used with 485 transceivers? Loads of them; eg, just think of the speeds routinely used on PC IO interfaces...! |
