Thank you for reply with ...code Actually I am worried about RTC-CTS handshaking, as it is not supported by Modbus This is my requirement, as hub will be an 'active hub' controlling entire n/w on rs-485(may be any custom protocol). In this case If communication is going on….on the network & if at the same time pc(external MODBUS) tries to fire a query how to receive this message from pc using single UART as it will be busy in communication with devices on 458 network. One way is to use RTS-CTS, & depending on these signals Tx,Rx lines can be switched towards pc... But this is not respecting standard MODBUS |
