i am applying the output wave 0-5v TTL from the function generator through a 5k resistor to the base of the transistor. I am seeing a normal 0 to 5 volt square wave on the oscilloscope going into the base. The collector is using a pull up resistor, and the output i am connecting to the oscilloscope is just staying at 12 volts? Is the output of the "TTL" circuit REALLTY swinging 0-5V ? What happens on the transistor base ? Do you see the base volts at ~0.6 V ? Steve |
