It should be fine if you use a small signal transistor, if you use a power transistor, you'll need a driver (a small power one that drivers the other) in order to saturate the hard one.
Any BCXXX (BC547 or 557 i don't remember exactly) will do it, any TO92 package transistor should be fine for this application. |
