#94587 - personal message Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I like the idea of -SMS vote, but I would add a twist to it (and to the Didn't search first, too): similarly to the "personal message" feature in some forums, when the poster of negatively scored post comes to 8052.com the next time, he would be displayed a warning/explanation first (with a "Continue" link). To get the message through, it should be carefully crafted in as few and as simple words as possible - up to 160 characters :-) Jan Waclawek PS. Are other abbreviations, such as PS, etc., e.g., a.m.; IMHO, LOL; mcu, pot... allowed? And what about culture-dependent expressions (e.g. Richard Erlacher mentions names of certain holy(?)days in the "monitor/debugger" thread)? I always think about these when somebody objects usage of SMS - although I personally strongly dislike SMS, too... |
