#116482 - many devices do not need a "programming
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I use an elector programming kit
but so far only the AT89S8252 an 53 can be used as far as I know.

many devices do not need a "programming kit" The Philips LPC3x and higher, The AT89c51xx2 or P 89V51Rx2 and many more.

Then there is a drastic variant, spend $79-up and use SILabs, the "programming kit" includes full ICE functionality and a developemnt board.
