#116515 - don't forget the Dallas devices Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Maxim/Dallas has a 33 MHz one-clocker series, the DS89C4x0, where x is 2, 3, 4, or 5, (read the datasheet for the differences) and those will drop into a "normal" 8052 socket. They take only one oscillator cycle per instruction cycle, hence offer plenty of speed, and they have lots featuresto play with, including on-the-fly speed changes, on-the-fly memory map modificaiton, etc.
Those should provide LOTS of amusement/amazement. They're also programmable with an internal bootloader. RE |
