Nah, the developer who is looking for chips for his new design is not the only person who needs the datasheet.

And it's enough to put them into the "obsoletes" folder.

I believe it's much much more comfortable (from many points of view) for them not to keep the old datasheets and if I would manufacture chips I admit I would most probably do the same. Nevertheless, it annoys me (as a user - forced sometimes to debug/update old designs etc.etc.).

PS. As with the AT89Sxxx, in some areas the P89C51Rx2Hxx's are obviously still _sold_ although they are obsolete for years now; in the same areas I doubt you can get a P89V51Rx2...
