With "standard" microcontrollers and improper reset it "just" might behave strangely; but if you store the code in FLASH and the "strange behaviour" sometimes ends with FLASH corruption, all bets are off... There are three points: - function of RC reset depends on the power supply - there are other functions of reset than just initialize at powerup (e.g. prevent working during powerdown) - it depends on the application, whether the previous two items do matter or not JW |
