If an MCU develops problems due to reset issues, and does so accross the board, as it did with the Maxim/Dallas series I've taken on as a hobby, then, as Maxim/Dallas stated, it's a hardware malfunction, and the mfg will fix it, as they claim to have done.
The old pre-"fix" versions have the built-in reset/supervisor, yet they still developed the FLASH corruption issue. Now, as I've just learned, there's another issue with FLASH corruption. Perhaps it's just a version from before the fix, but I doubt it. Overwriting the OTP has never been an issue ... I'm not sure what you mean. RE |
