#136831 - re:copied software
Responding to: ???'s previous message
No offense taken Bert. like I said, I don't even want the code, I already have the original!!
There is a copyright string embedded within the code at a particular address. That is all I want.

I do not want to say "too much" however IN the newer designs a secret command will divulge this information out one of the

ports.

I find it EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to pay a reverse engineering company a large amount of money for code that I already own!!!

The only way to prove it, would be to read out the code from the device we purchased from the said company.

We have done all the improving, security updates, free customer updates.......

This does not help the fact that these people are ruining my business, and it is very difficult to swallow, period.

I will without a doubt carry forth legal action as soon as I have proof that the wrongdoing actually occured.

Again the only way to get this would be to read the said microcontroller, in which case I would need some help or

information.

This can be done through my email address, and will be kept confidential.

Thanks to all for your concern and I again apologize if I have offended anyone on this forum.

Regards,
John
