#138622 - COPYING YOUR PROGRAM...
Responding to: ???'s previous message
SIR, IF THE PRODUCT IS A SIMPLE CONSUMER RELATED ONE (AFTER ALL 2051 HAS 15 I/O PORTS WITH SOME HARDWARE OR COMPONENTS WHAT ANY GOOD EMBEDDED ENGINEER ( AN EXPERT!) WOULD UNDERSTAND!BASED ON THESE COMPONENTS AND CAREFULLY STUDYING THE PIN WAVEFORMS A SIMILER PROGRAM CAN BE CREATED..(THE INSIDE FLASH IS NOT MORE THAN 2K AND NOT MUCH OF A PROGRAM FATIGUE. FOR COST CONTROL YOUR COMPETITOR WOULD HAVE COPIED YOUR PCB LAYOUT AND FIXED SIMILER COMPONENTS TO MATCH YOUR PRODUCT. AN EXAMPLE WOULD BE A DOMESTIC IR REMOTE CONTROL UNIT TO CONTROL LIGHTS AND FAN SPEED OR A PROGRAMMABLE TIMER, TEMP. CONTROLLER etc..OTHER THAN SOFTWARE THE HARDWARE AROUND IT WOULD GIVE A LOT OF INFORMATION ABOUT ANY PRODUCT WHICH ONE WANT TO REVERSE ENGINEER. IN FACT MY CO-CIRCLE PEOPLE DO THAT ONLY IF THEY FIND ANY PRODUCT VERY INTERESTING AND WITH A PROMISING MARKET. PLEASE REPLAY FOR ANY FURTHER DETAILS.

REGARDS, RAGHU-KODAI
