#136888 - I beg to differ....
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Product introduction time is often a hectic time for programmers and firmware developers. There is the trade show to get ready for, manufacturing people screaming for test capability, marketing begging for the manual, sales complaining why its not shipping yet, and the president telling every body to tighten the belt for another quarter because pay checks are being cut back 20% for several weeks...and the wife is at home ready to birth the second child at any moment. And then of course there is that two meter long bug list that has to be dealt with....if only we had "designed" this thing instead of hacking it together by seat of the pants and back of the napkin coding. I contend that setting up to set the MCU protection scheme is often the last thing on anybody's mind!!
