Actually, my first formal training out of high school was computer maintenance. They taught us computer architecture by training us to track down bad chips in the XT computers. (At that time, computers had just started screaming along at a blistering 33 MHz. :) ) I've forgotten it all, but the spirits of computers past may return to assist me.
