What are your drawing with out of interest ?

The supply rail can now be anything you like - up to Vce max of the transistors. The base resistor of the first transistor approx 2k2. The load resistor on the first transistor must pass enough current to saturate the base of the second transistor, say 10K, ~1mA into the base of the second transistor with a Hfe of 100 = 100mA into the load. You COULD omit the second base resistor on reflection, but 470R there is OK.

Or you use an inverter and a ULN2803.
