If anyone wants to do a quick drawing of a circuit using an unregulated power supply I'll add it to the list.

Want I don't want is to land up with a page of "The 300 different permutations of making an LED light up". I'm not writing a definitive guide, I just want a page we can point people to when they ask about connecting up and LED :-)
