#45828 - RE: making \'51 derivatives popular, Rob Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I suggest both Rob and Stephane Rey should make a trip to India, the LPC932 in small qty is around $3, and the LPC764 for $1.30.
Seriously the LPC932 is very good but with 2.7V to 3.6V, some current 51 designs that could be improved cannot be efficiently done so. Another good thing they have done is put in data direction register( I/O configurator). This bypasses the drive problem found with the other Philips chips. In fact why don't the do for all their chips, it is lot easier than putting pull up on existing PCB. |
