#48281 - An issue on maths |
I need to deduce the value of Degrees from a sensor input that measures linear MM. Then the deduced Degress value is used for some more calculations to declare a Deg/Sec result.
The relationship between the above parameters is given at finite milestones of Degrees and my problem is to handle the values that fall in between two milestones. Can anybody suggest a way out ? I tried the first level of correlation by taking the ratios - as can be seen, even that is not a constant. Deg - MM - Deg/MM 05 - 62.80 - 12.56 10 - 95.00 - 9.50 15 - 127.00 - 8.47 20 - 158.40 - 7.92 25 - 188.90 - 7.56 30 - 218.30 - 7.28 35 - 246.50 - 7.04 40 - 273.30 - 6.83 45 - 298.90 - 6.64 50 - 323.20 - 6.46 55 - 346.60 - 6.30 60 - 369.00 - 6.15 65 - 390.90 - 6.01 70 - 412.30 - 5.89 75 - 433.60 - 5.78 80 - 455.00 - 5.69 85 - 476.80 - 5.61 88 - 490.30 - 5.57 Unfortunatley I dont have the power of a PC processor to handle the calculation and the job has to be done by our friend P89c51rd2.
