even better, but this requires uniform distribution of value or linear distribution. if that data belongs to the curve of higher degree? y = f(x) is what table reflects. inverting the table will give the relation x = f^-1(y) once this polynomial is calculated, a LUT can be built as you suggested or if polynomial is of degree <= 2 can be calculted alternatively. abhishek |
