Yes correct. But I am not clear at the point you want to make ? Dear Raghunathan, he is meaning, that with such a linear sensor the value of Deg/MM of your list should be extremely constant. Also, it should not be necessary then to make a piece-wise linearization of your data, just a simple 'straight line' would be enough. But he is forgetting some important point: Deg is NOT the sensor voltage representing linear movement of sensor, right? Relationship is as following: Linear movement of sensor gives linear sensor voltage (MM). And this corresponds to the change of a certain angle (Deg), which is not linear with linear movement and so, not linear with MM. Bye, Kai |
