#49336 - RE: DRAM and how to interface it to 8051
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Well I am doing my final year's project. It is about designing a portable hard disk based mp3 player with FM radio. I am trying to find ways to reduce the power consumption and so increase the operation time of the device. I have thought of SRAM and FIFO memories as buffers, but they are not large enough for this purpose. One other option is a SIMM module (pjrc.com). Any other opinions on the above issue?
But anyway I would still like to obtain the info on the DRAM and SIMM modules...
