Sure, some things are certainly easier done in hardware than software - but how on earth you can possibly make such an enormous sweeping generalisation as that in any seriousness is beyond my belief!

That's why I like the Triscend: it lets you use hardware for the things best done in hardware, and software for the things best done in software - but to say that one is "easy" is nonsense!

Of course, doing trivial hardware things in hardware will always be easier that doing difficult software things in software - just as doing trivial software things in software will always be easier than doing difficult hardware things in hrdware!
