#81930 - Atmel
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Donald Catto said:
According to the Atmel datasheet I'm looking at SPI means:
Serial Port Interface

Are they actually talking specifically about SPI as in the Motorola 3/4-Wire bus, or is this just some other "local" usage of SPI?

The AT8xC51SND2C data sheet calls it, "Synchronous Peripheral Interface" but then they also talk about "SPI interface (sic)"

As I said originally, there's a lot of sloppy usage about! ;-)
