Hi,
Geologists already know where the ocean bed would jerk to generate the tsunami, where the faults are, where the plates mate. You can't warn beforehand of a tremor, but you can do something about after the ocean bed has shaken from a tremor and the tsunami is just impending....... We can warn coasts before it reaches there. Do meteorologists do that already ?? Babar |
