#87678 - not price but price differential Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I have personal experience with these "discount" offers
I enclosed the stuff since it seems to reflect pretty well my contact manufacturers price differential (of course for quantities). Another issue is, of course the quantity. When I order 2 prototype boards from my contract manufacturer I always get some blanks (at no charge) together with the populated boards, it seems that "it cost a hundered dollars to start the machine and a penny per board". The actual price is - seen one way - irrelevant, the price differential between 2 and 4 layers is the item discussed. Then, of course, some of you make 2 layers in your toaster oven and can not go beyond that - THAT, of course, make the differential astronomical. Erik |
