Apart from anything else a company I worked for paid for a'specialist' to do a layout for an 8 layer board only to find that he hadnt set his design rules checker properly,or so we thought and half the layers where connected to each other with blind vias.So we had 40 hugely expensive usless boards which we had to repair using a car battery to remove the links.It turned out that the guy had set the drc its just that the pcblayout software didnt do what it said on the tin and he ended up suing the software house. |
