Again, the difference is probably trivial for larger companies with good sized development budgets. But I'm not one of those companies so there is a difference to me between $51 and $229. The other issue is that when I'm prototyping, I could probably get by with a single board and I'd seldom need more than two. The three they give you for $51 isn't unreasonable, but the first order I placed with them for $229 had some errors that I quickly recognized (which led to my second order to include the corrections).
