#88161 - HCTL-2020 in India? |
Dear Friends,
In one of my projects I am using stepper motor with shaft encoders for feedback. I searched the forum for encoder interface with 8051 and came to know about pitfalls of interfacing an encoder directly with microcontroller. After reading Erik's explanation of boundry line oscillations when the motor stops, I have gave up the idea of connecting encoder direcly to the microcontroller and as per Erik's kind suggestion I have now decided to use Agilent HCTL-2020 encoder interface IC's. The HCTL-2020 seems not available at local market. I searched it on RS components website www.rsindia.com but the it seems the too dont have this. It will be a great help if somebody let me know where I can fetch this IC or equivalent in India. Thanks & Regards, Prahlad Purohit |
