#88214 - got HCTL-2032 :-)
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Dear Friends,

I could get two nos. HCTL2032 from a retail outlet in local market. Though I got it at a much higher price Rs. 1350/- ( USD 29 ) each. But anyways for a quantity of two not bad.

HCTL2032 is an upgrade for HCTL2020, it has got dual axis support and is as good as having two HCTL2020. and it supports upto 33MHz operations.

Now only one question remains...
(.) I will be using 500PPR encoder with max motor speed 60 RPM that gives maximum signal output from encoder 500Hz.
(?) HCTL2032 needs a external clock signal for oepration and it supports upto 33MHz operation. What can be the best source for feeding the clock?

- Microcontrollers ALE pin.
- PCA output.
- Or I must use a separate cloking source.
- I know its not a good idea but how about sharing the same clock for microcontroller and HCTL2032.

Thanks a lot to you for your time and kind help.

Regadrs,
Prahlad Purohit
