Thanks for your reply, Don't leave the index input floating, tie to Vcc or Gnd, whichever is the quiescent condition. Is this index pin active low or active high. Datasheet is silent on this issue too. My shaft encoders have also got Index output its diffrential output I, /I what to do with them I dont want to use index. Can I simply put 120 Ohms terminating resistor across these pins and leave them Thanks & Regards, Prahlad |
