If you looked at the code library you would find a quadrature decoder written in hdl which could be used for your application.And you would find it has an input filter which is there to prevent things like switch bounce and backlash from throwing the decoder into a tizzy.The filter can be made longer as required and adding a 8052 interfave would be simple.Saving you all the bother of having to source this decidely inferior part. |
