What can be the best source for feeding the clock?
- Microcontrollers ALE pin. - PCA output. - Or I must use a separate cloking source. - I know its not a good idea but how about sharing the same clock for microcontroller and HCTL2032. I do not know which derivative you use but: ALE is 'skipped' ocasionally - no good PCA output is always lower than your clock - could be bad If your derivative can set a pin as SYSCLK_OUT that is ideal, otherwise, most (all?) derivatives can drive a HC input from the clock. This HC must be so tight to the uC that you think they are in love. Anyhow I would suggest one of the following SYSCLK_OUT. A separate oscillator driveing the uC and the Agilent. Erik |
