Thanks to all of you for the huge response and kind advices.
- It appears that LPC932A1 isnt enough for this application. - Using a CPLD appears to be able to do the work but will increase the cost since a XC9536 when purchased in batch of 10 costs no less than 700/- Rs [ 15USD ] + LPC932A1 + ADC. - The MAC feature of SiLabs C8051F12x is certainly capable of doing the job but its more expensive the CPLD option. - ARM's have become really cheap with PHILIPS LPC2124 costing approx 400/- Rs. [ 5USD ] and it comes with 10 bit ADC as well thus eliminating ADC too. At present I am more biased towards ARM for this job. Thanks & Regards, Prahlad Purohit |
